SUPERVISOR HORVATH RESPONDS TO NEW YEAR'S EVE TERROR ARRESTS IN LOS ANGELES
December 15th, 2025
LOS ANGELES, CA – Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath released the following statement regarding the arrest of four individuals in connection with a planned New Year’s Eve attack:
“Violence has no place in our communities, and the fear it creates is felt by all of us. I am grateful for the coordinated efforts of the locally based Joint Terrorism Task Force, led by the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office, LA County Sheriff’s Department, and local law enforcement, whose work led to these arrests and helped prevent intended harm.
I am in close communication with Sheriff Luna to ensure that all Los Angeles County resources are brought to bear in support of the ongoing investigation and to protect our public spaces, houses of worship, and communities as we approach the New Year.”
