Chair Horvath introduced an unanimously adopted motion bringing Los Angeles County closer to its goals of an expanded electric vehicle (EV) charger infrastructure, enhanced charger reliability, and a fully zero-emissions fleet by 2035.  

Following Chair Horvath’s May 2023 motion to launch a Mandated Supporting Initiative (MSI) in Los Angeles County, a new suite of resources for mandated reporters and families is available.

Chair Horvath celebrated the Board’s unanimous adoption of Los Angeles County’s 2045 Climate Action Plan (CAP). The CAP is the County’s guide to achieving zero-carbon buildings by 2045.

Chair Horvath spent three days in our nation’s capital last week discussing the resources and partnership needed to address our urgent priorities of homelessness, behavioral health, climate change, and infrastructure. 

Topanga Canyon Blvd (TCB) was closed in early March in the aftermath of a massive landslide that is ongoing and continues to block a segment of this important roadway, making it unsafe for CalTrans staff and equipment to work on site.
