PRIORITIES

protecting our communities

Holding true to our values and protecting our most our most vulnerable.

As the federal landscape shifts and hard-fought rights are under threat, Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath is standing firm in defense of LA County values — equity and care for all.

She has taken bold action to protect communities targeted by hate, launching the Jewish Community Safety Plan and creating the County’s first LGBTQ+ Commission. She has expanded access to gender-affirming care, launched an initiative to identify the needs of AANHPI residents, and raised the Progress Pride flag over County buildings.

Supervisor Horvath is also fighting to protect workers, families, and small businesses — from launching an emergency fund during the Hollywood strikes to expanding digital library access and educational resources for young people.

In moments of national uncertainty, Supervisor Horvath is making sure LA County leads with inclusion — and leaves no one behind.
