SUPERVISOR HORVATH'S STATEMENT ON THE RELEASE OF THE SEPULVEDA TRANSIT CORRIDOR PROJECT DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
June 11th, 2025
LOS ANGELES, CA – Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath shares the following statement regarding Metro’s release of the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the Sepulveda Transit Corridor Project:
“Metro has released the long-awaited Draft Environmental Impact Report for the Sepulveda Transit Corridor Project — a major milestone in bringing real transit options to the Westside and Valley. Public input is open through August 30, and I’m thrilled to see our communities already showing up to shape this project.
The 405 has divided us for too long. This is our chance to connect neighborhoods, reduce traffic, and deliver a world-class transit line, and I’m committed to advancing a project that has high ridership, quick travel times, ensures equity, and connects communities, including a station at UCLA.
Thanks to Metro and everyone raising their voices. Let’s keep the momentum going — and bring this vision to life. It’s time!”
