NEW PARK & RIDE SERVICE LAUNCHES IN SYLMAR IN TIME FOR HOLLYWOOD BOWL OPENING NIGHT

June 3rd, 2025

LOS ANGELES, CA – For the first time ever, residents of Sylmar and surrounding Northeast San Fernando Valley communities can enjoy convenient, roundtrip bus service to the Hollywood Bowl with the launch of a brand-new Park & Ride location at Sylmar Metrolink Station. This long-requested service begins in time for the Bowl’s 2025 summer season and offers local concertgoers an affordable, accessible option for getting to world-class performances under the stars.

“I’m proud to support this initiative that, for the first time ever, brings Hollywood Bowl Park & Ride service to Sylmar. This is about making arts and culture accessible to every corner of L.A. County, and connecting communities to the incredible experiences they deserve,” said Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath. “This new service reflects our commitment to equity, sustainability, and joy—bringing music and performing arts closer to home for more Angelenos.”

“As someone who’s spent many unforgettable nights at the Hollywood Bowl, I know how special the experience can be. That’s why, together with our County partners, we’re always working to make it easier to get here. The new Sylmar Park & Ride stop is another step toward making those memorable evenings more accessible for Angelenos,” said Daniel Song, Chief Operating Officer for the LA Phil.

“I’m proud to have partnered with the County to bring this opportunity and look forward to seeing more of our neighbors enjoying this iconic venue. As an avid music lover, I know how meaningful it is to make world-class experiences like the Hollywood Bowl more accessible. The new Park & Ride in Sylmar is a win for equity and access, making it easier for all of us to enjoy the arts without the burden of traffic or distance,” said Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez.

The Sylmar Park & Ride operates on select concert nights and offers a seamless travel experience from the Northeast Valley to the Hollywood Bowl. Riders can reserve spots in advance and avoid the hassle of traffic and parking.
