SUPERVISOR LINDSEY P. HORVATH MARKS 100 DAYS IN OFFICE WITH COMMUNITY PICNIC
Los Angeles, CA – Residents and community members of Los Angeles County’s Third District are invited to join Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath and her team for a community picnic to celebrate her first 100 days on the Board of Supervisors.
WHEN: Sunday, March 26, noon – 2 p.m.
WHERE: El Cariso Community Regional Park, 13100 Hubbard Street, Sylmar, 91342
“We have been hard at work delivering on top priorities for Third District communities, including homelessness, tenant protections, and a responsive LA County government,” said Supervisor Horvath. “Grab your lawn chair and sunscreen and come join Winston and #TeamLindsey for a Sunday funday picnic at El Cariso Park. Let’s get to know each other better; celebrate the work we’ve done; and dream of all that’s possible when we work together.”
The afternoon of fun at Sylmar’s El Cariso Park will include music, activities, and food. This family-friendly celebration will feature bounce houses for kids and games for kids at heart. Four-legged family members are also welcome. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket and chairs for this picnic-style event.
Since taking office in December 2022, Supervisor Horvath has urgently addressed regional issues by declaring a state of emergency for homelessness, extending the eviction moratorium through the end of March, and co-authoring a motion that will explore how LA County can be more accessible, transparent, and equitable. She has prioritized being present throughout the Third District to deepen relationships with communities, organizations, and constituents.
The 100 days celebration is no-cost and registration is encouraged through Eventbrite
