Zahra Hajee serves as Communications Deputy for Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath, overseeing digital communications for the Third District. She previously worked in the offices of U.S. Senator Alex Padilla, Senator Scott Wiener, San Francisco Supervisor Rafael Mandelman, and at SEIU, focused on issues related to mental health, climate, and LGBTQ+ rights.  

Zahra is a resident of Downtown LA and serves on the Boards of California Women’s List and the CADEM AAPI Caucus. Originally from the Bay Area, she is a graduate of UCLA with a B.S. in Psychobiology and an alum of the Southern California Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs.
