Zahra Hajee serves as External Affairs Deputy for Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath, where she leads strategic community engagement and previously oversaw digital communications for the Third District. She has served in the offices of U.S. Senator Alex Padilla, Senator Scott Wiener, San Francisco Supervisor Rafael Mandelman, and at SEIU CA.

Zahra is a resident of Downtown Los Angeles and serves as President of the Asian Democrats of LA County, and on the Boards of California Women’s List and the CADEM AAPI Caucus. Originally from the Bay Area, she is a graduate of UCLA and an alum of the Southern California Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs.
