MEET TRACEY COOPER-HARRIS
Constituent Advocate, West Valley/Mountain Communities

Tracey Cooper-Harris is Supervisor Horvath’s Constituent Advocate for the West Valley/Mountain Communities based out of the Calabasas office. She brings knowledge, problem-solving & customer service skills from her time with the military, City of Los Angeles Animal Services, US Department of Veterans Affairs, & as the Military/Veterans Liaison for recently retired Congresswoman Grace F. Napolitano.
A native of northern New Jersey & Charleston, South Carolina, Tracey has been in LA County since 2001. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University Northridge (2010), & her Master of Public Administration from Clemson University (2020).
While in the military Tracey served under the U.S. Army Veterinary Command (VETCOM) for 12 yrs, including deployment for Operation Enduring Freedom & Operation Iraqi Freedom. VETCOM ensured the safety of our military from foodborne illness, provided veterinary care to government owned animals that assisted with military missions/safety, & prevented zoonotic disease transmission from animals to people.
Tracey is passionate about connecting people to resources/information, is an active member in several Veterans Service Organizations & volunteers with other nonprofit entities. In addition to binging cold-case shows, she enjoys a well-marbled ribeye steak, house music, & rugby. Tracey is celebrating 17 years of marriage to her spouse, & is lovingly claimed by their cats: Clemson, JT, & Muhammad Ali.
