Steven serves as Senior Justice Deputy and oversees the Justice portfolio for Supervisor Horvath, which includes the County’s work involving law enforcement agencies, jails and juvenile halls and camps, Care First Community Investment initiatives, several oversight entities, and other matters. Prior to joining the team, Steven served as a Senior Deputy County Counsel with the Office of County Counsel where much of his work focused on justice-reform and oversight matters.  Originally from Ohio, Steven has a law degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science from Case Western Reserve University.
