Katie Abrams serves as a West LA & Valley Communities Field Deputy out of the Metro / West District Office of Supervisor Lindsey Horvath. In her role she works closely with stakeholders in the communities of Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Encino, Tarzana, West LA, Sawtelle, Mar Vista, and Palms.

Katie is passionate about serving the community upholding the principles of our democracy. She previously served as the Deputy Political Director for Adam Schiff’s United States Senate Campaign. Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Katie worked as a Staff Associate for the United States House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol.

Born and raised in the outskirts of Chicago, Katie graduated from the University of Southern California where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Non-Governmental Organizations & Social Change. In her free time Katie enjoys spending time with her family (especially her baby niece!), exploring Los Angeles, and attending live music shows.
