Emily Ellison serves as Transportation and LA Metro Deputy for Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath, advancing transportation priorities across the Third District, including pedestrian, bicycle, and traffic safety initiatives, as well as improved rail and bus lines. She previously served as an analyst at the U.S. Government Accountability Office; led community engagement and communications at a public affairs firm; and worked as an immigration paralegal.

While in graduate school, Emily was awarded the David Bohnett Fellowship, through which she worked in Supervisor Horvath’s office with a focus on environmental policy. She holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California.
