MEET BRAD FINGARD
Legislative Deputy
Brad Fingard serves as Legislative Deputy for Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath, overseeing state and federal legislative and regulatory matters. In this role, he works closely with the Supervisor’s policy teams, County departments, and intergovernmental partners to develop, analyze, and advance legislative and policy strategies in support of county priorities. He previously served as Legislative Director to California State Assemblymembers Mark González and Miguel Santiago; as State and County Affairs Manager for Los Angeles Mayors Karen Bass and Eric Garcetti; and as Field Deputy and Case Manager for Los Angeles City Councilmember David Ryu.
Originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Brad is a Downtown Los Angeles resident and a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in Public Affairs and Education Studies. He is an alumnus of Bend the Arc’s Jeremiah Fellowship, Coro Southern California’s Fellows Program in Public Affairs, and America Indivisible’s Public Leaders for Inclusion Council.
