MEET BARRI WORTH GIRVAN
Director of Community Affairs

Barri Worth Girvan is the Director of Community Affairs for the Office of Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath, where she leads the third district’s three field offices, community outreach and constituent engagement. Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, she previously served as senior staff for former State Senate Majority Leader Bob Hertzberg and held multiple roles for former Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. She also directed government affairs for the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles.
Barri is the co-chair of the Inspirational Women of the San Fernando Valley Awards, and she has served in board and volunteer leadership roles at Temple Judea in Tarzana, New Directions for Youth, the Valley YMCAs, the Executives of the Los Angeles Jewish Home, and Close the Gap CA. She graduated from UC San Diego and earned a master’s degree in journalism from USC. Barri and her husband live in Woodland Hills with their three young children.
