As Deputy for Health and Special Projects, Aaron helps manage the Public Health, Mental Health and Health Services policy portfolio for Supervisor Horvath.  Prior to joining the team, Aaron served as the Director of Government Relations at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. His experience also includes serving on the Board of Directors of Health Access California and was an inaugural member of the California Department of Public Health’s Office of Health Equity Advisory Committee.  

Additionally, Aaron served as a Commissioner on the Los Angeles County Commission on HIV.  Aaron was born and raised in Orange County, and has made Los Angeles home for over twenty years.  He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from UCLA and a Master’s Degree in Professional Studies – Political Management from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
