Sophia Soudani-John serves a Deputy Director of Community Affairs for Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, covering any emergency that occurs in the Third District. Born and raised in Ventura County, she previously served as Field Deputy to Los Angeles Council District 6 and State Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian. Additionally, she has been a part of several campaigns including State Assemblymember Cottie Petrie Norris’s 2020 campaign and Seanad Éireann Senator Mark Daly’s 2020 Senatorial campaign.  

A graduate from University of California: Los Angeles, Sophia has focused her academic and professional career on political science and history. She has had the privledge of studying and working around the world including in Ireland, France, Italy, Prague, Qatar, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and the United Kingdom. Currently, Sophia lives in Santa Monica with her adorable dog, Jake, and equally precious kitten, Finn.
