Los Angeles, CA – Chair of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Lindsey P. Horvath, today released the official 2024 photo of the all-women Board. The photo was taken at the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall on the campus of The Music Center, Los Angeles County’s premier destination for arts, culture, and entertainment.

In releasing the photo, Supervisor Horvath, who is the Board’s first millennial and the youngest person to lead the Board as Chair, shares: “Arts and culture, and the people who create it, are the threads that bind Los Angeles County. The leadership and resourcefulness of women like Dorothy Chandler and Lillian Disney cemented the role of the arts in our lives. They were visionaries of their time. In this historic moment, when this all-women Board tackles consequential humanitarian issues–including homelessness and hate–and seeks to rectify the great inequities that preceded us, looking to the women who came before us matters. The public-private partnership that led to the Disney Concert Hall represents the best of Los Angeles; here we turn the impossible into a dream that becomes reality.”
